Springer previously helped the Astros securing the World Series in 2017.
Toronto's Blue Jays reached their maiden Fall Classic since the 1993 season by overcoming the Mariners in the seventh seventh game of the American League Championship Series.
Behind three runs to one, outfielder George Springer smashed a three-run home run in the seventh, propelling the Toronto squad in MLB to a 4-3 series victory in the seven-game series. They will now face the Dodgers, who are the current crown, in the upcoming Fall Classic.
"I'm thrilled for everyone here, our city, Canada," commented Springer, a star of the Astros team that claimed the 2017 championship. "This is such an incredible feeling."
The veteran has now hit 23 total post-season home runs, making him third in history behind Ramirez (twenty-nine) and Jose Altuve (twenty-seven).
"It's hard to imagine anyone else in the world that I'd choose in that moment except for George Springer with his playoff prowess," said manager John Schneider.
Seattle, after leading the early in the series, are still the sole team never to appear in a Fall Classic.
Wilson said "without a doubt that it's going to sting" following his team's loss at Toronto's Rogers Centre, but commended their work throughout the year.
"This is a unique group. It's a shame that we finished on the unsuccessful side of this game," he remarked.
The Blue Jays claimed the World Series on both previous visits in the early 90s, and are set to host the Dodgers in the first game on the upcoming Friday.
